About Caffe Torino
We serve coffee, but we’re not your typical café. Inspired by the great cafés of Europe, where conversation blooms; writers, artists, activists and intellectuals make their mark, we’ve made a conscious decision to slow things down and provide a beautiful view through large magical windows. Come have a sip and stay awhile.
Caffe Torino is a coffee shop in Long Island City, New York. It is listed at 42-02 34th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101, which places it among the local businesses of Long Island City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. More information is available on its website, instagram.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 247 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Long Island City and suggests consistent service.

The place is super nice, with lots of natural light and fresh air. We had the dirty chai, which was quite nice, but the almond cookie (gluten free) 🤯🤯 You can really taste that it’s made with high-quality ingredients. So good!

Stopped by on Tuesday afternoon! My coffee was amazing! I got a caramel iced latte the barista was so nice you can tell she has a passion for making coffee. This place is better than Starbucks! She also made me a hazelnut latte to die for! I will definitely be back again! You should definitely stop by!

I stopped by Caffe Torino in Astoria and ordered an Americano, and it ended up being a really solid coffee experience. The Americano was smooth, rich, and well-balanced—not too bitter, with a nice depth of flavor that you don’t always get from neighborhood spots. You can tell they’re using quality beans and putting care into how the coffee is made, which makes a difference even with something as simple as an Americano. The café uses Italian-style coffee, which tends to have that fuller, more rounded taste. The atmosphere also adds to the experience. It’s clean, modern, and has that relaxed European café feel, making it a great place to slow down and actually enjoy your drink rather than just grab-and-go. Overall, if you’re in Astoria and just want a well-made, no-frills Americano in a comfortable setting, this place definitely delivers.

I love this café. It has some of the best coffee in the area, and is by far the best iced latte around. The space is bright, clean and comfortable and I love sitting outside when the weather gets warm. The food, gelato and baked goods are consistently delicious.

A beautiful spot in a prime location—perfect for locals who can just step downstairs to a corner coffee shop with an open-concept layout, lush greenery, and great aesthetics. There's plenty of seating, even for groups of six, making it ideal for hanging out. The bakery is stacked with options, from pistachio muffins to thick, juicy baklavas. The menu is simple, with average pricing in line with nearby spots. I did try a vanilla iced latte, but it was watered down despite not waiting long—maybe the hot version is better. I also had an affogato; while the gelato wasn’t super creamy, it blended nicely with the espresso—definitely worth a try on a hot summer day
